Reviewing the Operation Panel

This section describes the operation panel keys and their function. The following

diagram illustrates the components of the operation panel:

This following table lists each component and its purpose:

This component Does this

(1) Panel display Shows the current status of the printer and

error messages.

(2) On Line indicator Tells you whether the printer is on line or off

line. The indicator stays on while the printer

is on line (a state in which the printer can

receive data from the computer). The

indicator stays off when the printer is off line

(a state in which the printer cannot receive

data).
