AdjustingThe Image Position

Adjusting The Image Position

If the image position is not correct, adjust it before you start printing. Use the Image

Position keys after you have made the master.

The left and right Image Position keys shift the image about 0.6 mm, 1/40” each time

they are pressed. When the indicator changes, the image position shifts about 5 mm,

1/5”.

Shifting the image position forward or backward

Press the right or left Image Position key.

D When you shiftthe image forwards, leave a margin (more than 5 mm, 1/5”) at the leading edge.

If there is no margin, paper may wrap around the drum and cause a misfeed.

Press the Proof key. Check the image position.
