Replace the black plastic cover.

Install the new feed roller unit into

the scanner as shown in the

illustration. Double check to make

sure that the pins on the end of

the shaft that is towards the back

of the scanner seat properly into

the holes that are provided.

Grasp the shaft and rotate it in

both directions until the shaft

seats properly.

Close the document feeder

cover.
